Classic Design Concepts is also releasing a composite Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) “flat hood” for 2008 -09 Dodge Challenger models. The CDC Challenger hood retains the original character lines while eliminating the raised twin factory scoops. It is available with or without the hole pre cut for the Shaker scoop. The new Challenger “flat hood” is OE tested for durability and performance, offers an excellent fit and maintains the OEM-style crush initiators. All production mounting hardware, such as struts and latching mechanisms, can be used in the installation.
